R-Value: A Gonz Insulation of the insulating effectiveness of a material by assessing its resistance to the flow of heat through it. The higher the R-value, the more effective the material is.
Fiberglass: An insulating material consisting of extremely fine, hair-like glass strands that are tightly woven together to form an airspace. It is resistant to moisture and fire and a popular choice for residential and commercial insulation.

Unfaced insulation: Insulating materials that do not have a facing or vapor barrier. This type of insulation is most commonly found in stud wall cavities and in attics.
Vapor Barrier: A vapor retarder is an outer layer of a coating or mastic that prevents the transmission of water vapor from the inside of the building to the outside. It also helps prevent the buildup of mold and mildew inside an insulation system.
Solar Attic Fan: A type of exhaust fan that uses energy from the sun to suck up hot attic air and deposit it outdoors, where it won’t cause moisture and heat damage.
