Machinery For Juice Production

machinery for juice production

The juice production machinery  for juice production is quite varied and depends on the type of beverage the company will produce. The main pieces of equipment are the grinder, the pump and the evaporator. The grinder will be able to grind the raw materials and prepare it for extraction, and it will also have a centrifuge that will remove the seeds and unwanted pulp mass from the product.

Pumps can be in a variety of depending on the type of pump needed for each application. Generally they are progressive cavity pumps or lobe pumps. The size of the pumps will depend on the type and capacity of the evaporator, the size of the fruit or vegetables, and the desired rate of processing.

Structural characteristics and working principle

Using the proper equipment will help ensure the right amount of juice is produced in each batch. It will also guarantee that the ingredients are mixed in a uniform manner. A sterilizer can kill any microorganisms present in the juice and a vacuum degasser will remove any air from the product.

Extracting the juice from the fruits or vegetables will then begin. Fruits with a higher water content will usually go through an extraction line that can conduct cold, hot and even freeze pressing. Other fruits such as hawthorn that are rich in pectin may need to undergo enzymatic treatment.

After the juice is extracted it can then be clarified, filtered and concentrated. This will involve adding ingredients, adjusting the consistency and temperature of the juice. The bottled juice filling machine will then take the clarified and filtered juice to fill into bottles that can be either PET or glass. This will be accompanied by two bottle rinsing stations (disinfectant solution and sterilized water) and one capping station. This will be all done within a 100,000 level clean room.
